Can I start for free?

Yes. The free plan lets you manage two locations with 5 inspection items and 10 active inspections. No credit card required.

How do reminders work?

ProbeList sends email reminders based on your configured schedules. Basic and Premium plans include advanced reminders with customizable intervals.

Can I manage multiple locations?

The Basic plan supports up to 20 locations. A dedicated plan with no limits is also available.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use SSL encryption and regular backups, and store data in European data centers.

Can I change plans at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the account settings.

What tasks can I assign to an inspection?

A task list can include, among other things, Yes / No questions and tasks with a numeric value, for example the number of devices checked.

What is recorded after an inspection is done?

The inspection result, the date it was done, and the person who did it are recorded. You see the results history on the location.

Who is ProbeList for?

For service companies, technical administrators, property managers, and property owners and private individuals.

Does the free plan require a credit card?

No. Getting started on the free plan does not require a credit card.

How often can inspections repeat?

You set the frequency in days, weeks, months, or years, so a check done every week and an inspection every five years can run side by side.

What statuses can an inspection have?

An inspection can be pending, upcoming, overdue, or cancelled. The status filter helps you quickly find inspections past their due date.

Who receives inspection reminders?

Email reminders are sent based on the schedules you configure and help you and your team prepare for a visit. You stay in charge of contacting the client or owner.

How do reminders differ between plans?

The Free plan includes basic email reminders. The Basic and Premium plans add advanced reminders with customizable intervals.

How long is the inspection history kept?

The Basic plan includes a 3-year inspection history and the Premium plan an 8-year one.

Can I invite my whole team?

Yes. You invite colleagues to the workspace with the administrator, inspector, or observer role. You assign inspections to specific people.

What is a location and what is an inspection item?

A location is a place or a client, such as a building, a venue, or a service client. An inspection item is a device or installation at a location, with its own brand, serial number, and note.

Will ProbeList tell me which inspections are mandatory?

No. You agree the scope and frequency of inspections with contractors, in line with manufacturers' recommendations and regulations. ProbeList records the dates and reminds you when they are approaching.

Does ProbeList replace inspection reports?

No. The app stores dates, results, inspectors, and notes. You keep the original reports and certificates in your own archive.

Does ProbeList issue invoices or quotes?

No. It is a tool for scheduling inspections, sending reminders and keeping service records. You handle billing, invoices, and accounting where you do today.

Can I move data over from a spreadsheet?

You add locations and inspections in the app. For a larger number of entries you can write to us and we will suggest how to start.

What if I need more than 50 locations?

A dedicated plan with no limits is available. Tell us how many locations you manage and what inspections you need, and we will help you pick the right plan.
